Dr. Jaclyn Colton

DVM

Dr. Jaclyn Colton is a veterinarian at Cocoa Beach, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Florida in 2023. She is Fear Free Certified, has completed FEMA Animals in Disaster training, and is Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Certified. Jaclyn’s journey in veterinary medicine began as a kennel technician, and she has worked in various roles within the veterinary clinic, from Vet Tech to CSR. She has always known that veterinary medicine was her calling, finding it to be the perfect mix of challenging, engaging, and rewarding.

Jaclyn shares her life with her beloved pet, Meeka, an 8-year-old Mini American Shepherd. The most rewarding part of her career is getting to know her patients and their families, being there for them through all stages of life.

Outside of work, Jaclyn enjoys beach walks with her dog and hiking in National Parks. She considers her greatest life accomplishment to be becoming a veterinarian. In her leisure time, she is a huge fan of video games, particularly enjoying titles like Zoo Planet and Age of Empires.
