Latrece Simmons

Veterinary Technician

Latrece is a Vet Tech at the Merritt Island location with a deep passion for helping animals and their owners through both joyful and challenging times. She is currently pursuing her studies at Keiser University to become a Radiology Technician, bringing a continual drive for learning into her work in veterinary medicine.

Latrece is a proud mom to her adventurous baby boy, Ritchie, who loves exploring the outdoors. Her pet family includes Echo, a Cattle Dog; Camo, a Lab mix; and two Domestic Shorthair cats, Celeste and Kinji.

For Latrece, the most rewarding part of her career is constantly expanding her knowledge and seeing the positive impact on patients as they recover. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and spending time at the beach. One of her greatest accomplishments is cultivating patience in both her personal and professional life, which she considers essential. Latrece loves reading to her son and values being surrounded by uplifting people. She finds great fulfillment in caring for all animals, viewing her role as a veterinary nurse as more than just a job—it’s her calling.
