Marc

Veterinary Technician

Marc is a Veterinary Technician, at our Viera location, with a lifelong passion for working with animals. He knew from the age of 12 that he wanted to pursue a career caring for animals, with a long-term goal of working with marine life. He is currently continuing his education in marine biology while also pursuing his Certified Veterinary Technician credential. He also plans to become scuba certified to further his knowledge and experience in marine science.

Marc holds CPR, First Aid, and Emergency CPR certifications through the American Red Cross. He finds the most rewarding part of veterinary medicine is knowing that he can make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the people who trust the veterinary team with their care. One experience that has stayed with him was caring for a very sick 10-week-old kitten who was brought in with a dangerously low body temperature. After five days of dedicated care, the kitten recovered and returned for a recheck full of energy—a moment Marc remembers fondly as an example of why he loves his work.

Outside of the practice, Marc enjoys spending time with his wife and their children, playing video games, watching movies, reading, swimming, scuba diving, and practicing archery. He especially loves taking morning and evening walks with his family and playing with his boys in the backyard.

Marc is a proud father to Kaiden and Connor, with another child, Grayson, on the way. He and his wife also share their home with four cats—Pumpkin, an orange tabby; Thea, a black cat; Candy Cane, a calico; and Kira, a blue-point Siamese—as well as a guinea pig named Snowflake.

Marc is especially proud of the family he has built and the person he has become. His dedication to being a loving husband and father inspires him both personally and professionally. His ultimate goal is to become a marine biologist and continue pursuing his passion for caring for and learning about animals.
