Dr. Ian Birkbeck

Dr. Ian Birkbeck is originally from Orlando, Florida. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 2005. While studying biology, he decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. After attending the University of Florida in Gainesville and receiving a Master’s degree in business administration, he remained there and enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the Island Animal Hospital team in 2011.

When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Paula, as well as reading and fishing. They live in Viera with two dogs and four cats.
