Jessica Cortes

Veterinary Technician

Jessica is a skilled Veterinary Technician at Cocoa Beach, holding a CVA-Level 4 certification and a License in Massage Therapy (LMT). Her journey into the veterinary industry began in college when she volunteered at the SPCA. This experience inspired her to shift her career path from Hospitality to animal training, animal rescue, and ultimately animal care.

Jessica shares her life with her beloved pet, Yeti, a Lab mix. The most rewarding aspects of her career are the relationships she builds with coworkers, animals, and clients, and the connections she makes along the way.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys anything related to water, including stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), snorkeling, scuba diving, and beach walks. She considers her medical journey to be her greatest life accomplishment. One thing Jessica absolutely loves is her pup, Yeti, who holds a special place in her heart.
