Customer Service Representative

Laura is a Client Service Representative at Merritt Island with a Veterinary Assistant Certification from Aiken Technical College. Growing up on a farm in Kentucky, she developed a deep bond with animals from a young age, inspiring her lifelong passion for animal welfare. This passion led her to volunteer opportunities, such as fostering dogs and assisting a nonprofit animal advocacy organization in building a state-of-the-art shelter. These experiences, along with her time as a veterinary technician, provided her with a profound understanding of the challenges pet owners face, both medically and emotionally.

At home, Laura shares her life with her husband, Wes, two sons, Liam and Aidan, daughter-in-law Kylie, grandson Jack, and a soon-to-arrive granddaughter. Her pet family includes Blue, a Staffordshire mix; Theodore, a Husky/Malamute German Shepherd mix; Frankie, an Australian Shepherd mix; Mojo, a black cat; and Mater, a Green Quaker Parrot.

Laura finds the most rewarding part of her career to be ensuring that both pets and their owners feel supported every step of the way. In her free time, she enjoys reading, kayaking, learning new things, and visiting amusement parks. Laure considers raising her two wonderful sons to be her greatest life accomplishment and absolutely cherishes her family and animals.
