Dr. Megan Dowst

DVM

Dr. Dowst earned her DVM from the University of Florida in 2018. As a young girl, she was always drawn to animals, so she already had aspirations to pursue a veterinary career at an early age. She had a lot of animals in her household including dogs, pocket pets, snakes, and birds. Dr. Dowst was also fascinated with science and medicine, so becoming a veterinarian just made sense! Her special interests in the field include internal medicine, preventative medicine, and dermatology, and her favorite aspect of her role is getting to bond with people and their pets.

At home, Dr. Dowst shares her days with her Pit Bull mix, Rocko. When she has free time, she enjoys traveling, engaging in various outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and reading.
