Gerry Santana

Veterinary Technician

Gerry has nearly 15 years of experience in the veterinary field, beginning his career in Miami after being encouraged by his mom to pursue work with animals. Over the years, he has gained experience working with both large and small animals, as well as unique opportunities to care for marine wildlife. His background includes working with whales and dolphins through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

Geraldo has always enjoyed working with animals and appreciates the many opportunities veterinary medicine has provided throughout his career. He also spent time in California pursuing his passion for music, bringing a creative side to his diverse professional journey.

Inspired by his spouse, who is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Geraldo is currently working toward earning his own CVT license. He looks forward to continuing to expand his skills and knowledge while providing compassionate care to his patients.

At home, Geraldo has a four-pet family that includes Mac-11, a dog; two cats, Sweeney and Vin; and Buddy, a Green-Cheeked Conure.
